BIOGRAPHY /SERVANT
Pastor A.L.Hunt, Sr. is a native of Athens GA. . He and his lovely wife, Lady Betina Hunt, have three children: two daughters Anika , Asha and Antonio, Jr , Before pursuing ministry as his full-time occupation, Pastor was a Project Manager for Bank of America. During his seven years of service at Bank of America, he was promoted to the ranks of Assistant Vice President. He is a proud member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
Education/ SERVE
Pastor Hunt graduated from Lander University in 1995, where he was a member of the men’s varsity basketball team, with a degree in Business Administration. He also graduated from the American Institute of Banking in 1999, he earned a Master of Ministry in 2016 and a Master of Divinity in 2018 from Luther Rice College & Seminary. He is currently enrolled at United Theological Seminary where he is pursuing a Doctorate of Ministry.
Experience/ SERVICE
Pastor Hunt served as a Deacon at the his home church Clifford Grove Baptist Church . He also served as personal armor bearor for Pastor David L. Sims,Jr. for twenty years . In 2011, he received his licsense to to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ under the leadership of A.J. Richardson at the Clifford Grove Baptist Church. In 2015 he was installed as the Senior Pastor of the Oak Hill Baptist Church in Watkinsville , Georgia. Pastor Hunt served and assist Pastor Natheal Mitchell for 7 years and he was Pastor Mitchell successor and he was installed In 2023 as the pastor of St. James Baptist Church.
